We are a San Diego-based, owner-operated landscaping company serving San Diego County. This policy explains what information we collect through dbplandscaping.com and when you call or text us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information you give us. When you submit the quote form on our Contact page, we collect your full name, email address, phone number and the message you write. We also collect what you choose to tell us when you call, text or message us, such as project details, your property location and scheduling preferences.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, the systems that host and protect it may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you request. Our site sets one short-lived security cookie (it lasts about 30 minutes) that helps tell real visitors from automated bots.

Social media and Google. If you message or comment on our Facebook, Instagram or Google Business Profile pages, we see what you send and the profile details that platform shows us. Those platforms handle your information under their own privacy policies.

We do not collect payment card numbers through this website.

3. How we use your information

• To answer quote requests and questions, and to schedule estimates and services.
• To send appointment reminders, project updates and important service information by text, email or phone.
• To send special offers and promotions by text message, if you agreed to receive them.
• To run, secure and improve our website and to prevent spam and fraud.

4. Text messages (SMS)

By giving us your phone number on our quote form, you agree to receive text messages from DBP Landscaping. You can also agree by telling us during a phone call. Texts may include appointment reminders, project updates, important service information (such as weather, schedule changes or safety concerns) and special offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for help. You can also call us at (619) 850-0699. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying our services, and you can request a quote by phone instead.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us run our business, such as the software that hosts our quote form and sends our texts and emails, phone and text carriers, and website hosting and security providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, customers or property.
• A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or transferred.

6. Third-party content on our website

Customer reviews on our website are displayed with a widget provided by Elfsight. When it loads, Elfsight may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser, and may set a cookie used to count views. Elfsight handles that information under its own privacy policy at https://elfsight.com/privacy-policy/. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to display them. Our website links to Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps, which have their own privacy policies.

7. Cookies and Do Not Track

We have not set up advertising or analytics cookies on our website. The only cookies you may receive are the short-lived security cookie described above and any cookie set by the embedded reviews widget. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as expected.

Do Not Track: our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals from your browser. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking tools on our website, and we do not knowingly allow third parties to use it to track you for advertising.

8. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to answer your request, provide our services, keep business records and meet legal obligations. After that we delete it or remove details that identify you.
